Ishaan Khatter's washboard abs and Ananya Panday's swag blazes the first look of Khaali Peeli

A nd it is official! Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday are coming together for a movie. The debutants of last year will come on the screens together for Ali Abbas Zafar's production Khaali Peeli. And while conjectures about the project have been going around for some time now, the makers have released the first look of the movie. Earlier in the morning, the makers announced the project and the excitement is at the peak to see a fresh duo on the screens. In the first poster, we see Ananya Panday, Ishaan Khatter and a taxi (kaali peeli, see the wordplay).

While sharing the first look, Ananya wrote a really quirky caption which gives us a hint of what the movie is going to be about. "एक देढ़ शाणा, एक item, एक taxi, और एक रात की कहानी। अपुन ला रहे हैं 2020 ki सबसे रापचिक picture ? It's time for #KhaaliPeeli?
Directed by @macriaan , the film releases on June 12, 2020 ?," Ananya's caption read.

In the first look, we just cannot get over Ishaan Khatter's washboard abs and Ananya's killer swag.

The movie is directed by Maqbool Khan.

Both the actors are two films old. After making her big Bollywood debut with Student of The Year 2, Ananya has got Pati Patni Aur Woh in her kitty. The actress is currently shooting for it. On the other hand, Ishaan has already been a part of Beyond the Clouds, and Dhadak. This will be their third film.

While talking about the movie, Ali in a statement said, "Khaali Peeli’s process has been organic — Maqbool, Himanshu (Kishan Mehra, co-producer) and I worked on the script for almost a year, and when we felt that it was totally baked, we took it to this enthusiastic young cast. I am happy that the studio is producing this film with us, apart from the other project that we are working on. We will soon announce our next big collaboration as well."
